10 questions to ask before you open a trade account
- Do you sell only to the trade, or also to retail customers? (Will you ever sell to my customer?)
- What do you need to open an account: resale certificate, EIN, business license, storefront or website?
- Do you approve home-based shops and new businesses?
- Do you blind ship in unbranded boxes, and can I add my own packing slip or return address?
- What are your order cutoffs and time zone, and does turnaround start at order or at proof approval?
- What is the real cost of shipping to my area, and is overnight available?
